FAQ

How much does custom artwork cost?
You probably knew this answer was coming, but it depends! My rate starts at $120 for smaller pieces, but average closer to $175. If you're trying to work within a particular budget, please include that in your request form, and I will put together a proposal within your budget!What kinds of reference photos should I provide?
Please send 3-5 reference photos and, for pet portraits, at least one should be straight on-- think a headshot for your pet! Make sure the photos are clear and there’s as little blur as possible (I know this can be difficult with the fur babies). It doesn’t need to be super high quality— a few of the 100s of photos on your phone should suffice!Can you include multiple pets?
Absolutely! Mention how many pets you'd like to include when you describe the project and I'll include them in the quote.My pet is all one color. Can you still create a portrait of them?
Awww absolutely! For pets who are all one color, I play with a lot of texture and shadows to capture their beauty.Why Sequel Market?
Sequel Market started out as a shop where you could get pet toys, notebooks, beanies, and other lifestyle goods that were made from secondhand materials. It was born of a desire to have the material goods we need and want made with materials that were already in the waste stream! This ethos is still a pillar of my art practice and the name honors the through-line of my work.Where did the store go??
